Design system choices
Porcelain: #F7F5EE canvas, #277353 eligible, #C58C53 noneligible; Manrope throughout; rounded 20px cards and soft depth.
Night Signal: #0D1412 canvas, #A8F5BA eligible, #FF9E6E noneligible; Space Grotesk with DM Mono for labels; crisp 12px cards.
Electric Paper: #FAFAF7 canvas, #D23F34 eligible, #617A8A noneligible; Outfit throughout; squared 4px cards and strong outlines.
My lean: Porcelain
It gives financial information a calm backdrop while keeping the eligible and noneligible spend colors distinct. Night Signal is strongest if the product should feel premium; Electric Paper is strongest if it should feel more active and playful. These are visual directions, not a change to the product flow.
Reference patterns researched: CardPointers’ card-first choice, Monzo’s segmented spend view, and Copilot’s compact spending figures. The layouts and palettes here are original explorations. View current v0.7 screen.
